News and Notes:

Our first potluck luncheon this month will be on March 7th. After the service on the 1st Sunday of each month we have our traditional Potluck lunch.  Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share and stay for food and conversation. There’s always plenty to eat !!!

Megan and Kathy would like to propose a group camping trip. They invite everyone to their land in Terlingua to enjoy the peace and beauty there. It is VERY primitive ( not even an outhouse!) But with such simplicity , there is time to focus on relaxing and fellowship. If you are interested, look at your calendar and find a likely weekend. Please call or email Kathy at home or UTPB to let her know when.

Lois Eggleston says: After walking around with my walker and cane, I feel great walking around all on my own!!! I feel great and my legs feel stronger. I feel free, free, FREE! Soon I'll be running around skipping al on my own. Thank God I feel so good. (Lois's left femur was broken in a bike accident on Nov. 29th, 2009. The surgical repair of the bone was done the next day, and she has recovered well.)

If you have news &/or notes to share, please email them to Bear at  swimbear@cableone.net for the newsletter and to dmeengr@sbcglobal.net for our web site. We can now make web site updates quickly and easily.

The Clan of the Frog Pond men’s group meets each Thursday evening at 8 PM at David Eggleston’s home, 1605 W. Tennessee, Midland. Men are invited to share their life experiences and feelings in a secure, supportive atmosphere following Native American tradition. For more information contact David at 352-3681, or Cliff at 550-3302.
